KP Plans to Send 500,000 Skilled Workers Abroad for Jobs

The current Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Justice (retired) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, has provided details about the ongoing efforts of the provincial government in implementing the ‘Khushal Pakhtunkhwa Initiative.’

This initiative has a specific focus on empowering the youth by equipping them with skills and training that are tailored to align with the demands of international job markets.

A significant announcement made by Justice Arshad is the introduction of the Human Capital Export Strategy. This strategy outlines an ambitious goal of training and sending 500,000 young individuals from the province to foreign countries each year. The primary objective is to enhance their employability and create opportunities for them in various foreign nations.

The Chief Minister shared these plans while addressing the 10th Parents Day event held at Kernal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi, where he served as the chief guest.

During his speech, Justice Arshad emphasized the pivotal role of the youth as valuable assets for the nation and the potential leaders of the future. He highlighted the importance of the youth focusing on their studies, working hard, and preparing themselves for the responsibilities they will shoulder in contributing to the overall development of the country.

Furthermore, Justice Arshad underscored the government’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of the youth.

This indicates a broader perspective on not just economic empowerment but also ensuring the overall welfare and development of the younger population in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The initiatives outlined reflect a proactive approach to address the needs of the youth, aligning them with international opportunities while emphasizing their crucial role in the future growth and progress of the region.
