Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Billion Tree Tsunami Honey Project last year. One million hectares of Pakistani woodlands would be used to create seven different varieties of honey as part of the initiative. Honey production, on the other hand, would increase from 12,000 to 70,000 metric tonnes. Pakistan would be able to export honey worth Rs 45 billion to various countries on a yearly basis.
Previously, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Billion Tree Tsunami project received international acclaim as international environmental organizations praised him for his efforts to improve the environment, calling his efforts “exemplary” for other world leaders.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam read out the letter at the cabinet meeting. Representatives from climate change organizations in the United States, France, and Paris penned the document.
