Labanese PM Requests Pakistan’s Support in Ending Isr@eli Str!kes: PMO

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has requested Pakistan’s help in pushing for an immediate end to Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

During a telephone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Lebanese leader appreciated Pakistan’s active diplomatic role in the Middle East. He urged Islamabad to use its influence to help stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israel’s continued attacks and expressed deep sorrow over the heavy loss of lives in Lebanon. He offered his condolences to the people and government of Lebanon.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured Nawaf Salam that Pakistan is making sincere efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. He highlighted Pakistan’s role in facilitating the upcoming high-level peace talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad.

The phone call reflects Pakistan’s growing importance as a trusted mediator in regional conflicts. Lebanon is currently facing serious challenges due to repeated Israeli strikes, which have caused significant damage and loss of life.

Pakistan has consistently called for an immediate ceasefire and respect for international law in the Middle East. The government believes that dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to achieve lasting peace in the region.

This latest development shows Pakistan’s continued engagement in supporting peace efforts across the Muslim world.
