Punjabi prison officials aim to build one of the country’s most modern jails in Lahore, modelled after the ones used in the United States (US).
According to facts, the provincial authorities’ proposed prison complex will be for women and children. The jail authorities stated that it will be able to hold 1,502 small children and 300 women.
According to reports, jail officials have been dispatched to the United States in order to learn how to build modern jails.
The prison’s barracks and cells will have double beds, as well as round-the-clock surveillance via CCTV cameras, according to the jail’s officials.
