Cricket legend Sir Viv Richards from the West Indies has made a prediction for the upcoming 2023 World Cup, which is set to take place in India from October 5 to November 19.
Richards believes that Pakistan’s talented left-arm fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi, will emerge as the top wicket-taker of the tournament. In a video shared on the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s official Instagram account, Richards expressed his confidence in Afridi’s skills and highlighted his impressive progress.
During the Ceat Cricket Rating Award event, New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee also praised Shaheen Afridi and his teammate Trent Boult, acknowledging their consistent ability to challenge batsmen effectively over their careers.
