Lieutenant Gen Muhammad Ali Takes Charge as Defense Secretary

Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali has officially taken over the position of Secretary of Defense, after being appointed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif last week. His term will continue until December 31, 2026. He replaces Lieutenant General (Retired) Hamood-ul-Zaman, whose time in the role ended in August.
