In celebration of its 50th anniversary, renowned travel publisher ‘Lonely Planet’ has expanded its Best in Travel 2024 list to include five categories: top countries, regions, cities, sustainable travel destinations, and best-value spots.
Mongolia claimed the coveted top spot on the list due to its vast landscapes, adventurous opportunities, and unique culinary and musical traditions.
The top ten list also features countries like Pakistan, Mexico, St. Lucia, and Croatia, alongside lesser-visited destinations such as Uzbekistan and Benin. This diverse selection showcases the world’s diverse and captivating travel options for the upcoming year.
