Low Fares with Free Baggage Allowance For Islamabad-Beijing flights

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is introducing low fares with a free baggage allowance for flights between Islamabad and Beijing. It is starting from August 6. Passengers traveling between Pakistan and China will benefit from this new offer. Economy class passengers will enjoy a 50 kg free baggage allowance, while executive economy class passengers will have a 60 kg allowance. The aim is to facilitate travel for various purposes such as study, business, work, and family visits.

PIA currently operates a weekly passenger flight from Islamabad to Beijing, with the return leg to Islamabad on Sundays. This new fare structure and baggage allowance will be particularly beneficial for Pakistani students returning to their educational institutions. Additionally, employees involved in projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) can also take advantage of this facility.

The offer is timely, as Pakistan and China are celebrating “The Year of Tourism” to enhance cultural and people-to-people exchanges. Ghulam Shifa, a Pakistani tour operator, believes that this attractive offer will attract Chinese tourists who wish to explore Pakistan’s scenic landscapes, rich historical sites, and vibrant cultural attractions.

Moreover, this move is expected to strengthen the ties between Pakistan and China while promoting tourism and facilitating various forms of bilateral exchange.
