Hungary’s major companies in the food, technology, medical, and information technology sectors intended to invest in Pakistan, according to Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
On Thursday, Pakistan and Hungary unveiled the ‘Trade & Economic Window,’ a platform for cooperation in a variety of fields and the exploration of joint projects in oil, information technology, and tourism.
Foreign Minister Qureshi and his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto launched the Hungary-Pakistan Trade & Economic Window and the first bilateral Business Forum via video connection, marking a significant move forward for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in terms of economic diplomacy.
Qureshi claimed that Pakistan was prepared to host the Pakistan-Hungary Joint Economic Commission’s second meeting in the near future.
He said that strengthening high-level relations between the two countries could increase bilateral trade volume.
He said Hungary’s Agricultural University was in contact with Pakistan’s Agriculture Council to facilitate bilateral food security cooperation.
