As per sources, a citizen of Gilgit-Baltistan was shocked as he got an electricity bill of Rs. 139 million.
WAPDA sent an pending bill of around Rs 139 million to a citizen who got astonished. As soon as he rushed to WAPDA office and claimed he got to know that it was a ‘technical error’.
XEN Billing and Operations stated the one who was involved in such blunder that caused distress to the consumer have been suspended from their jobs.
He further cleared that it was the mistake of data entry operator as new system was installed recently.
The citizens are instructed to contact the administration for complaints and corrections of their bills.
