There has been a big increase in the prices of flour in different cities of the country.
In Karachi, flour is the most expensive in the country, 20 kg bag has become Rs 3,000, while in Islamabad and Rawalpindi the price is more than 2900.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, a bag of 20 kg flour is available in Lahore for Rs 2750, while in Multan and Gujranwala the price has increased to Rs 2733.
In Peshawar, a bag of 20 kg flour was sold for 2750 rupees, in Quetta also the price was 2700 rupees.
On the other hand, Sugar prices increased significantly, sugar prices increased further in Peshawar and Karachi.
In Peshawar, the price of sugar has increased by Rs 15 per kg, while the price of sugar in the wholesale market has increased to Rs 130 per kg.
In Peshawar, 50 kg of sugar has increased from 5,700 to 6,500, dealers say that mill owners are not supplying sugar to dealers in Peshawar.
