The Corporation of (MMC) Meat Merchant Association, in Karachi stated that fhe demand for meat has been dropped down to 70% in the metropolis, and requested an inquiry regarding the prevalence of LSD
The Meat company manufactures requested, that the Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) should be investigated properly.
The Meat corporation, gave an applause to the initiatives of DOW University, and the Sindh Govt to try and improve the situation in a release. According to the investigation, the manufacturers are themselves being the most effective ones, from this LSD epidemic.
As per the Meat manufacturers say, the consumption of meat in the metropolitan regions has been dropped down to only 1000 animals in a day, and it’s counted to be 30% of the quantity that it was before this outbreak.
