Expo City Dubai was filled with green and white as Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and excitement. The event, called Emirates Loves Pakistan, was organized in partnership with the Pakistan Association in Dubai and supported by Dubai Police. It was a 12-hour festival that brought together people from across the UAE.

The celebrations began with a colorful Parade of Unity, where more than 15 cultural and community groups showcased Pakistan’s rich provincial and traditional heritage.

Visitors enjoyed a lively atmosphere with authentic Pakistani food stalls, handmade crafts, and continuous cultural performances. These included soulful Sufi music, energetic regional folk dances, and other displays of the country’s artistic traditions.

The festival also highlighted the strong friendship between the UAE and Pakistan. Special guests included Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, who praised the close ties between the two nations.

As the day went on, the excitement continued to build, with families, friends, and community members coming together to celebrate their shared heritage.

In the evening, the crowd eagerly awaited the live performance of popular singer and music producer Sahir Ali Bagga, which served as one of the main highlights of the event.
