Meta has introduced a new feature on Facebook, designed to help users earn money more effectively. As the world’s leading social media platform with over 3 billion monthly users, Facebook continues to expand its role beyond connectivity, offering tools for financial opportunities.
The new update focuses on enhancing the use of affiliate links. Previously, these links were restricted to captions, but now users can seamlessly include them in posts, including Reels, photos, videos, and text. This improved visibility allows for greater engagement, helping users drive traffic and increase their earnings through partnerships with brands.
To further support creators and professionals, Meta has developed an auto-detection system for affiliate links. This system, currently available for select domains, identifies specific product links in posts. It then suggests adding a “Paid Partnership” label and includes detailed information about the product, making posts more transparent and appealing.
Meta’s goal with this update is to strengthen collaboration between users and brands, creating new opportunities for monetization. By allowing affiliate links to be used more effectively, Meta is enabling users to enhance engagement, boost sales, and build stronger partnerships.
The feature is being rolled out globally for Facebook Pages and Professional Profiles, providing a new way for creators and businesses to generate income. This development reinforces Meta’s commitment to empowering its users and broadening the platform’s role in the digital economy.
