Minimum Wages for Workers, Sindh Took a Hit on the Federation

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced a 30% increase in salaries for employees in grades 17 and above while presenting the Sindh government’s budget. The retirement pension has been increased by 17.5%.

The minimum wage has been increased to 35,550 rupees. Remember that Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced yesterday that the minimum wage would be raised to 32 thousand rupees.

It is proposed that the Sindh Information Department spend 9 billion 47 crore rupees on advertisements and publicity.

A total of 6 crore 21 lakh rupees will be allocated to broadcast and social media monitoring services.

It is proposed to keep over 25 crore rupees in the press club and deserving journalists’ funds.

Sindh Information Commission has 5 crore 50 lakh rupees set aside. Over 195 billion rupees have been set aside for retirement and pension purposes.
