Ministry of Climate Change Offers Job Openings in Pakistan

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, through the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA), has announced job openings for various positions. These roles aim to strengthen the ministry’s efforts in addressing climate change and promoting environmental protection in Pakistan. Both male and female candidates with the required qualifications and experience are invited to apply.

Job Vacancies Available

The ministry is looking to fill the following positions:

  1. Assistant Computer Programmer (BPS-15)
  • Vacancies: 01
  • Qualification: Candidates should have a Second Class or Grade “C” BCS/BS in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Age Limit: 18-28 years
  • Duration: Regular basis
  1. Accounts Assistant (BPS-11)
  • Vacancies: 01 (Leave vacancy)
  • Qualification: Candidates must have a Second Class or Grade “C” B.B.A/B.Com from a university recognized by HEC and at least two years of experience in accounts or finance.
  • Quota: Punjab
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Duration: Regular basis (filled until May 27, 2027, or until the original incumbent joins)
  1. Store Keeper (BPS-05)
  • Vacancies: 01
  • Qualification: Candidates should have completed their Matriculation.
  • Quota: Merit
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Duration: Regular basis
  1. Naib Qasid (BPS-01)
  • Vacancies: 01
  • Qualification: Candidates should have completed primary education.
  • Quota: Local
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • Duration: Regular basis

Terms and Conditions:

  • All recruitments will follow the Establishment Division’s Recruitment Policy guidelines. Age relaxation is permitted according to government rules, with candidates eligible for a general age relaxation of five years.
  • Shortlisted candidates must bring their original documents for verification at the time of the test/interview, along with attested copies of each document.
  • Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the test/interview, and serving candidates should apply through the proper channel.
