The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination has announced new job opportunities for Pakistani nationals to join the World Bank-funded PSDP project titled “Strengthening Technical Capacity of Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination.” These positions are offered on a contract basis for one year, extendable for another year, based on performance or until the completion of the project.

Positions Available
The following roles have been announced for recruitment:
1. Team Leader – Communication & Media (PPS-11)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies from a national or foreign university; a higher degree (PhD) will be given preference.
- Experience: At least 15 years in media, communication, campaign planning, and management. Excellent writing and communication skills are mandatory.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
2. Team Leader – Projects Support (PPS-11)
- Qualification: Master’s in Climate Change, Environmental Engineering from a national or foreign university; a higher degree (PhD) will be given preference.
- Experience: At least 15 years of experience working with government, intergovernmental organizations, or the UN system in climate change and environment protection projects.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
3. Team Leader – Environment & Climate Change (PPS-11)
- Qualification: Master’s in Climate Change or Environmental Engineering; a higher degree (PhD) will be given preference.
- Experience: 15 years of experience in climate change, environmental protection, and working at managerial levels.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
4. Project Development Specialist – UNFCCC (PPS-10)
- Qualification: Master’s in Climate Change or Environmental Engineering; higher degree (PhD) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience working with international organizations, with specific experience in managing climate change projects and familiarity with the UNFCCC processes.
- Age Limit: Maximum 52 years.
5. Team Leader – Green Finance (PPS-11)
- Qualification: Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, or Natural Resources; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 15 years of experience in climate change and natural resource management.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
6. Green Finance Specialist (PPS-10)
- Qualification: Master’s in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or Development Studies; PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in financial management and resource mobilization.
- Age Limit: Maximum 52 years.
7. Project Management & Reporting Officer (PPS-08)
- Qualification: 18 years of education in Project Management, Economics, or Public Administration.
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience in supporting project management and reporting under donor-funded projects.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

- Eligibility: Candidates who meet the qualifications and experience requirements mentioned for each post are eligible to apply. Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
- Age Relaxation: A general relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is already included in the maximum age limit.

- Selection: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the required criteria will be contacted for a test/interview. Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
