Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Announces Vacancy for Digital Communication Officer

Islamabad, Pakistan – The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Islamabad is seeking qualified, energetic, experienced, and motivated individuals to fill the position of Digital Communication Officer on a contract basis. This opportunity is available under the Management Scale positions.

Qualification and Experience

To be eligible for the Digital Communication Officer position, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies & Communications, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, History, or Computer Sciences from an HEC recognized university with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s Degree in the above subjects with at least 5 years of professional experience at a senior level position in a media-related organization in the government or corporate sector, especially with proven experience in the field of Digital Media Management.
  • Age Limit:
  • The maximum age for applicants is 62 years (calculated as of the closing date of application submission).

Recruitment Policy

The recruitment for the Digital Communication Officer position will be conducted according to the Management Position Scales Policy – 2020.
