Motorway Authority Suspended Faisal Movers Operations After Tragic Accident

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has suspended Faisal Movers’ operations in the Motorway North Zone for 30 days, starting from December 31, 2024, to January 29, 2025. This decision was made in response to a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of 11 lives and left 14 people injured. The accident was found to be caused by driver negligence.

During the investigation, authorities discovered multiple safety violations by Faisal Movers. These included operating on unauthorized routes, exceeding speed limits, and failing to provide adequate staffing for their services. The NHMP emphasized that Faisal Movers must strictly follow all safety guidelines and comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the NHMP before they can resume their operations.

The NHMP has also announced stricter safety protocols to prevent such incidents in the future. Measures like monitoring vehicle trackers and ensuring drivers are not fatigued will be implemented to improve passenger safety.

This action underscores the importance of adhering to safety regulations and prioritizing the well-being of passengers on highways and motorways.
