At the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators set a new record for the greatest aggregate total in a T20 match, playing in the 28th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.
Together, the two sides scored 515 runs, breaking the previous record.
The Gladiators scored 253 runs in response to the Sultans’ 262-run goal, which is the most ever scored by a team batting second in a T20.
The Titans and Knights combined for 501 runs in the South Africa T20 Challenge in October 2022, setting a new record for a single T20 match.
