The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced that several major Bahria Town properties connected to real estate tycoon Malik Riaz will be put up for public auction.
The auction will take place on August 7, 2025, at NAB’s Rawalpindi Office in G-6/1, Islamabad. The move follows formal approval from the Islamabad High Court.
According to NAB, the auction will include some of Bahria Town’s most prominent assets in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. These include the Bahria Town Corporate Offices located on Plots 7-D and 7-E, Park Road, Phase II.
Other properties up for sale are the Arena Cinema, Safari Club, Bahria Town International Academy, and the Rubbish Market & Lawn near the Garden City Golf Course.
The sale of these properties is part of NAB’s broader efforts to recover funds and settle legal matters related to Bahria Town’s ongoing cases. The bureau has invited interested buyers to participate in the auction and review the properties before the scheduled date.
Bahria Town, one of Pakistan’s largest property developers, is known for its large-scale residential and commercial projects. The decision to auction these high-profile properties has drawn significant attention in the real estate market, with many expecting competitive bidding.
NAB officials say the auction process will be transparent and conducted according to legal requirements. Further details, including registration procedures for bidders, will be shared ahead of the auction day.
This event marks one of the largest public sales of Bahria Town assets in recent years and could have a notable impact on the property market in the capital region.
