Nation Celebrates Pakistan Day with Grand Military Parade

Pakistan Day 2024 was celebrated on Saturday with a renewed dedication to the country’s progress and stability. The main event of the day was a grand parade held in Islamabad, where groups from the armed forces and other security forces marched past to display their military strength.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu led a flypast, which included J-10C and F-7PG fighter aircraft. Various aircraft and helicopters from the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, and Army Aviation performed aerobatic maneuvers for the audience at the Parade Ground. Additionally, skydivers from airborne units demonstrated their skills.

The parade also highlighted the diverse cultures of the four provinces, showcasing the rich heritage of Pakistan. Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud was the guest of honor, with groups from China and Azerbaijan also taking part.

President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and all service chiefs were present at the event, demonstrating the unity and strength of Pakistan.
