In accordance with an April judgement by an accountability court, Assistant Commissioner Lahore Cantt ordered the sale of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s property in Lahore on Monday.
On April 23, the accountability court granted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi’s appeal for the auction of Nawaz Sharif’s assets.
After being deemed a proclaimed criminal in the Toshakhana matter, the NAB decided to auction the PML-N supreme leader’s properties.
“The auction of property known as 135 Upper Mall Lahore, located in Mouza Mian Mir, Tehsil Cantt.
Lahore is scheduled to be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the compound of Assistant Commissioner’s Office Cantt,” the AC said in a notification.
