NEO Hum Bridal Couture Week 2024 Wraps Up in Style

Not only did NEO Hum Bridal Couture Week 2024 paint the town red, but Lahore witnessed an unforgettable color drench unlike any other. One of the most awaited events in the fashion world, NEO Hum Bridal Couture Week is a celebration of style, creativity, and the rich tapestry of colors that define bridal couture.

This year, supermodel Vaneeza Ahmed directed the three-day event, which featured 27 fashion designers, both seasoned and new. The runway was graced by showstoppers including Talha Anjum, Muneeb Butt, Saba Qamar, Anmol Baloch, Mawra Hocane, Aima Baig, and many more.

With a portfolio of over 1500 colors, NEO became the title sponsor of Hum showcase this year with the theme ’World of Color’.

Celebrating a Spectrum of Colors

Each designer from HSY to Emraan Rajput and every collection had a story of its own to tell, however two talented maestros who stood out were none other than Munib Nawaz & Fahad Hussyn. Nawaz and Hussyn took a unique approach by incorporating NEO’s beautiful and elaborate range of more than 1500 shades into his collection.

Munib Nawaz captivated audiences with his avant-garde collection, celebrating contemporary masculinity through daring hues and intricate craftsmanship. Sharing his thoughts, Munib said, “I am excited because this time around I got to work on a collection that is very close to me. This time, we’ve incorporated nuances of colors inside the collection which is what breaks it. And the inspiration for that comes from NEO’s palette which has over 1500 shades. Every color, every shade, every nuance, and every little tint changes the perspective of the color!”

Fahad Hussyn’s collection was the grand finale, delivering an unforgettable performance that mesmerized the audience. The showcase was nothing short of a visual and emotional spectacle, taking the audience on a journey of storytelling through intricate designs and a palette that blended traditional and modern aesthetics.

In Fahad’s words, “people have always associated me with the color black, but truth be told I am a color fanatic. I try doing shades that I cannot explain. The world of color is extensive. I find my way to extract the right shades I am looking for when I can’t find them. I use alternative inspirations to get them right. This year, my job was made easy when I received these beautiful shade cards from NEO – a very cohesive and well-researched palette that offers a wide range of colors that you can never get bored of because you can find a persona in them.”

Where Art Met Fashion

Rashid Rana, celebrated globally for his groundbreaking work in contemporary art, brought a unique perspective to this year’s event. In a rare appearance made possible by NEO and HUM TV, Rashid Rana showcased his creative genius at Hum Bridal Couture Week.

Energetic Performances Brought the House Down

Powerhouse performers like Ali Zafar and Daniyal Zafar who performed their newest track ‘Munda on the Rise’.

Talha Anjum, one of the showstoppers for Munib Nawaz also graced the runway with an energetic performance, Aima Baig also rocked the venue in a beautiful red outfit from Fahad Hussayn. The audience was also treated to a mesmerizing performance by Khumariyan.

The prestigious “Model of the Season” awards were proudly bestowed upon Hussain Rajput and Iqra Mehmood, celebrating their exceptional talent and presence in the fashion industry.
