AirAsia X, a budget airline from Malaysia, is starting a new flight route between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur. The airline will begin these flights on May 30 and plans to operate them four times a weekâon Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Ticket prices will start at Rs 55,800, making it a more affordable option for people traveling between Pakistan and Malaysia.
AirAsia X hopes to carry more than 100,000 passengers every year through this new service. The goal is to make international travel easier and more accessible for people living in Karachi.
In addition to this, there are also plans to launch direct flights between Karachi and Dhaka. This comes as the relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh continues to improve. Both governments have given their approval, and the required permissions are already in place. A formal agreement is expected soon, which would further strengthen ties between the two countries and improve regional connectivity.
