New Passport Control Counters Introduced At Dubai Airport on Eid Al Adha Eve

Dubai International Airport has introduced new children’s passport control counters at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, following the successful launch in Terminal 3 during Eid Al Fitr. The purpose of this initiative is to create a memorable experience for young travelers and foster cultural connections.

Director General of Dubai’s Residency and Foreigners Affairs, recently conducted an inspection visit to witness the progress of work in the passport control area. During his tour, Al Marri observed various mechanisms in place, ensuring international standards. He also reviewed the preparations to handle the high passenger traffic expected during the Eid Al Adha period.

Moreover, the children’s passport counters at Dubai Airport have been thoughtfully designed, blending traditional Emirati heritage with modern elements. With drawings of camels adorned with astronauts. These counters symbolize the merging of historical roots and technological advancements. The floor of the counters features welcoming phrases in a multitude of languages and vibrant colors.

During the last Eid Al Fitr, over 10,423 children used the passport control counters at Terminal 3. Encouraged by this positive response, Dubai authorities have expanded the service to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, ensuring that even more young passengers can enjoy this engaging and culturally enriching experience.
