New Rule Announced for All Vehicles on Motorways

A strict new safety rule has been announced for all vehicles traveling on Pakistan’s motorways following a tragic accident on the M-9. Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has called for stronger enforcement of vehicle safety standards to prevent further loss of life.

Under the new direction, no vehicle will be allowed to enter the motorway unless it fully meets safety requirements. Special attention will be given to the condition of tires.

Vehicles with damaged, weak, or expired tires will be stopped from entering. Authorities have been told to carry out careful inspections before granting access to national highways and motorways.

The minister has also ordered a complete investigation into the recent accident. The Inspector General of Motorway Police has been asked to conduct a detailed inquiry and present a full report as soon as possible. Officials will examine the causes of the crash and identify any negligence involved.

According to the new instructions, both commercial and private vehicles will be checked. While transport vehicles have always required monitoring, private cars will now face the same level of scrutiny to ensure equal safety standards for everyone on the road.

Abdul Aleem Khan expressed deep sadness over the lives lost in the accident. He shared his condolences with the grieving families and prayed for strength for those affected.

The government hopes that stricter checks and proper enforcement of safety rules will reduce accidents and make motorways safer for all travelers in the future.
