As per the media reports, the New Zealand cricket authorities have shown their interest in visiting Pakistan this year. They are optimistic about their national squad tour Pakistan this year after 18 years.
New Zealand is expecting to play a white-ball arrangement against Pakistan before the T20 World Cup. This cricket series will be very helpful and beneficial for both countries, to improve their T20 abilities before the worldwide occasion starts on October 17 in the UAE.
David White, the New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive said the Black Caps will tour Pakistan this year before ICC Men’s T20 World Cup if we are satisfied with the security arrangements.
He further stated that the New Zealand board is in contact with the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and Pakistan’s government officials.
“All going well, ensuring that we satisfy all the security arrangements which I’m confident we will do, we will tour Pakistan,” he said.
According to the sources, Pakistan is also deciding to host England for a T20 series in October 2021.

The New Zealand cricket team also has a busy schedule, as they will also tour India, before hosting Bangladesh and South Africa for more red-ball matches.
