Nida Dar is a Pakistani cricketer who has represented her country at the international level. She bats with her right hand and bowls with her right arm off break. In T20I cricket, she became the first Pakistani cricketer to take 100 wickets.
On October 6, 2010, Dar debuted for Ireland in a one-day international match.. Dar is known as “Lady Boom Boom” because of her batting skill. Her father, Rashid Hassan, was also a first-class cricketer.
She was picked to Pakistan’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 event in the West Indies in October of 2018. Following the competition, the International Cricket Council awarded her the team’s standout player (ICC).
Dar was picked to Pakistan’s team for their away series against the West Indies in June 2021, across all forms. She became the first bowler, male or female, to collect 100 wickets in T20I cricket for Pakistan by removing Deandra Dottin in the 10th over of the first innings in the opening match of the T20I series. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) commended her on her achievement after the match.
