Senior Iranian politician Ali Larijani has expressed concern over the lack of support from Muslim countries for Iran during its current challenges, stating that no Islamic nation has openly stood with the Iranian people in difficult times. He criticized what he described as silence or inaction from the Muslim world, suggesting that such a response undermines the idea of unity among Islamic nations during periods of crisis.
Larijani emphasized that Iran has historically supported various countries in times of need and expected a similar level of solidarity in return. He noted that geopolitical interests and regional pressures may have influenced the stance of other nations, but warned that the absence of collective support could weaken broader cooperation within the Muslim world moving forward.
