Pak Suzuki Motor Company has rolled out a new car exchange program, enabling customers to upgrade to the country’s best-selling hatchback, the Suzuki Alto, with monthly installments starting as low as Rs18,999.
The initiative, launched in collaboration with Habib Bank Limited (HBL), is designed to make vehicle ownership more accessible while offering car owners an easier route to trade in their old vehicles. Under the scheme, customers can exchange their existing cars and finance a brand-new 660cc Suzuki Alto at a 9.99% markup rate.
According to details, the program assumes a trade-in value of Rs2.1 million for the old vehicle, while the remaining balance is financed through a partner bank. This flexibility allows buyers to manage costs more effectively while stepping into a modern, fuel-efficient hatchback.
Industry observers say this move strengthens Suzuki’s footprint in Pakistan’s small-car market, which has long been dominated by the Alto. Recent data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) revealed robust sales figures for Suzuki’s hatchbacks, particularly the Alto, which continues to lead as the nation’s top-selling car.
In August 2025 alone, Suzuki sold more than 4,000 units of the Alto—an increase of over 100% year-on-year compared to 2,023 units in August 2024, and up by nearly 80% month-on-month from 2,327 units in July 2025. The Cultus and Swift models also contributed to this momentum, further consolidating Suzuki’s market presence.
Company officials believe that the exchange program will not only attract repeat Suzuki buyers but also appeal to new customers seeking affordability, convenience, and long-term value.
By combining low monthly payments, reliable performance, and an easy exchange process, Suzuki aims to make the Alto an even more compelling choice for Pakistani drivers who are looking to upgrade their vehicles.
With this initiative, Pak Suzuki reinforces its position as a leader in the compact car segment, continuing its tradition of providing practical mobility solutions for households across the country.
