Now You can Apply for Residency Visa of Denmark

Denmark changes visa regulations to make it simpler for students to get residence permits.

The amendments were agreed in a plenary meeting on March 23 with 92 votes in favour and 18 votes against, and the new system would go into effect on April 1st.

The new regulations for employment schemes call for the formation of the supplemental Pay Limit scheme and the supplementary Pay Limit track under the Fast Track scheme, both of which have a minimum annual income of DKK 375,000, according to the immigration service’s webpage.

Denmark, like Germany, is also experiencing a labour shortage, thus there are now less restrictions on who may come work in certain occupations.

However, there is good news for foreign nationals who complete a Danish professional bachelor’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD programme since they will automatically receive a three-year job search time and the ability to work for three years after earning their degree.
