WhatsApp has introduced a highly anticipated feature that allows users to edit their sent messages. This means that if you make a mistake or change your mind after sending a message, you now have the ability to make corrections.
To edit a message, simply long-press on it and select the “Edit” option from the menu. You can do this within 15 minutes of sending the message. The edited message will be marked with the label “edited” so that the recipient knows it has been modified, but the edit history will not be visible.
This feature is being rolled out globally and will be available to all users in the coming weeks. It’s important to note that, like all personal messages, the messages and edits made are protected by end-to-end encryption.
