OnePlus’s Chief Executive officer, Pete Lau, has tweeted about a smart watch that the company is presently expanding. Lau has said that the watch is set to announce ‘primary next year.’
In 2016, OnePlus’s co-founder shared plan of a circular smartwatch. At that time, OnePlus had already disputed the plan of inventing a smartwatch; the company sensed that it require focus on their smartphones before they move into wearables and other devices.
The company has until now released many non-smartphone outcomes; OnePlus Buds, the company’s truly wireless earbuds appeared at the end of July before time this year and their bullet wireless earphones have been in flow for a while now.
No design information were revealed in the tweet by the Chief executive officer. OnePlus could maintain actual circular dial design from the old sketches, or they could enter the square/rectangular-shaped smartwatches market beside Apple and Huawei.
The Operating Software that the watch will house has also not been disclose yet. On the one hand, OnePlus could stick to Google’s Wear Operating system like the Amazfit and some watches by Fossil. On the another hand, OnePlus could expand the Android experience by placing a skin over Google’s design.
The OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro are set to release in the March of 2021; the company’s first ever smartwatch could also may be come out close by the phones.
