Since 2015, at least nine Pakistani nationals from various spheres of life have annually chosen to renounce their nationality in favour of other races, mostly European ones.
Moreover, 25,240 Pakistanis have abandoned their citizenship in the past eight years. The most popular destination for Pakistanis to settle appeared to be Germany, followed by India and Spain.
The most alarming statistic was that 670 businessmen resigned their citizenship during the evaluation period. In fact, according to the data, 330 dealers renounced their nationality in 2022 alone.
According to the documents, among the individuals who gave up their citizenship were 670 engineers and 350 doctors, and more than 50% of them were granted citizenship in three different European nations.
