Naseem Shah, a well-known Pakistani cricketer, had to have shoulder surgery in London because of an injury he got while playing against India in the Asia Cup 2023.
The surgery took about 30 minutes, and it went well. Now, Shah has been told to rest for six weeks and be careful as he recovers.
The doctors think he might recover faster than some others who had the same kind of injury. Even though he’s sad about not being picked for the ICC World Cup, Shah is staying positive and hoping to get back to playing cricket soon.
