Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of ISPR, shared his thoughts on the strong relationship between Pakistan and China in a recent interview. He said both countries stand together in working for peace in the region and fighting terrorism.
He described Pakistan and China as responsible countries that care about the well-being of their people. According to him, the goal of both nations is not just security, but also progress and prosperity for their citizens.
General Chaudhry said, “Prosperity comes through peace and stability,” stressing that lasting development can only happen when a nation is safe and peaceful. He also underlined the importance of self-reliance developing strength from within—while still welcoming support and cooperation from the global community.
Talking about the challenges the world is facing today, such as climate change and rapid population growth, he said that big nations across the globe have set bold goals to push humanity forward. He believes that collective efforts and unity among countries are key to solving these issues.
The partnership between Pakistan and China is based on trust and shared values. Their cooperation sends a clear message: they are committed to building a future that is peaceful, stable, and focused on sustainable development.
This collaboration, he added, is not just about defense and security it also involves working together in areas like technology, trade, and climate, for the benefit of both countries and the entire region.
