Pakistan and China have strengthened their partnership by signing 13 agreements to boost cooperation in various sectors, such as security, education, agriculture, human resource development, and science and technology.
These agreements were signed after discussions between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Their talks focused on the overall relationship between Pakistan and China, especially their economic ties and joint projects through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
One of the key agreements was the Handing Over Certificate for the Smart Classrooms Project, which was signed by Pakistan’s Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Khan Cheema and China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao. This project aims to modernize educational facilities in Pakistan.
Additionally, both countries pledged to work closely on several other initiatives. These include advancing cooperation in information and communication technology, improving flood control systems, and strengthening security measures. They also agreed to work on human resource development and support for joint laboratories.
These agreements show the commitment of both nations to deepen their collaboration across many important sectors, aiming to foster growth and development in the years to come. The Pakistan-China partnership continues to be a key factor in regional stability and economic progress.
