India’s Ajay Kumar Reddy took four wickets, and Nakula Badanayak got three.
In response, India scored 169 runs in 20 overs, needing 38 runs from three overs at one point. However, Matiullah’s exceptional 18th over allowed only four runs, helping Pakistan.
India lost three wickets quickly, going from 150 runs for three wickets to 154 runs for six wickets. Sunil Ramesh scored 62 runs, and Durga Rao Tompaki got 40. Matiullah took two wickets, and five Indian batsmen were run out. Pakistan’s next match is against Bangladesh on Tuesday.
