Pakistan Day Parade on March 23 to Be Held on a Limited Scale Due to Ramadan

The Pakistan Day parade on March 23 will be held on a smaller scale this year because of Ramadan, but it will still reflect the country’s national pride and unity.

The event will take place inside the President’s House in Islamabad, with President Asif Ali Zardari as the chief guest. Although the parade will not be as large as in previous years, it will still include full participation from all three branches of the armed forces.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will perform a special flypast, and a salute will be given to the chief guest. Additionally, the Pakistan Army’s pipe and percussion band will put on a musical performance as part of the celebrations.

Foreign ambassadors and dignitaries have also been invited to witness the event. Pakistan Day is an important occasion in the country’s history, marking the passage of the Lahore Resolution in 1940. This resolution was a major step toward the creation of Pakistan, making March 23 a day of national significance.
