In the Digital Quality of Life (DQL) Index 2021, Pakistan has slipped 14 places to 97th place. On this year’s list, the country is ranked 28th out of 32 Asian countries.
The three areas where the country did best, according to the DQL Index 2021, are mobile speed growth, broadband speed growth, and mobile affordability.
Pakistan was in 41st place in terms of mobile speed growth, 43rd place in terms of broadband speed growth, and 48th place in terms of mobile affordability.
The DQL Index, now in its third edition, provides a unique assessment of 110 nations’ total digital quality of life based on five fundamental pillars. Internet affordability, internet quality, electronic infrastructure, electronic security, and electronic government are the five pillars.
