Pakistan issues visas to Indian Sikh pilgrims on the occasion of Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary

Sikh pilgrims from India have been granted 3000 visas by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to attend ceremonies commemorating Baba Guru Nanak’s 552nd birthday.

According to information, Sikh pilgrims will attend Baba Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary activities from November 17 to November 26, visiting Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib and other religious locations.

Sikh pilgrims have been granted visas in accordance with protocol for visits to sacred sites. On the eve of Baba Guru Nanak’s 552nd Birth Anniversary, Pakistan’s High Commission in New Delhi said on Twitter that they had issued around 3000 visas to Indian Sikh Yatrees.

“On the 552nd Birth Anniversary of the founder of Sikh religion, the Pakistan High Commission in India extends sincere felicitations to the Sikh community in India and around the world,” it stated.
