Pakistan Likely Playing XI for World Cup Clash Against England

Pakistan is set to play against England in their last match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in Kolkata on Saturday. Currently ranked fifth with eight points, Pakistan needs a significant win against England to make it to the semi-finals.

Captain Babar Azam is relying on Fakhar Zaman for an aggressive start, and openers Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique will stay the same.

Good news for Pakistan as fast bowler Haris Rauf, who left a previous match due to a suspected rib sprain, has returned to training after a negative MRI report.

Shadab Khan, recovering from a concussion, is back in practice but might not play. Pakistan is likely to stick with the same lineup as their last game against New Zealand.

The expected playing XI includes Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Hassan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Haris Rauf.
