Textile exports have recovered from a sharp drop and are on the path to exceed the USD 20 billion target, thanks to the government’s export-oriented policies and solid economic recovery in the major export markets.
After achieving stability, the textile export industry is beginning a period of sustained economic expansion and will continue to grow at a high rate.
In a press statement issued recently, the Chairman of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) expressed satisfaction with the country’s rising export trend.
He states that the country has seen a rapid recovery of exports since the removal of COVID-related restrictions, with outbound shipments rising faster than those of regional competitors Bangladesh and India in recent months.
