Starting from May 1st, which is Labour Day, Pakistan Railways will be offering a 20% discount on the Shalimar train service.
Pakistan Railways has stated that a discount of 20% will be applicable on Shalimar Express tickets from May 1st to May 15th, according to a statement.
This discount is applicable to all classes of the Shalimar Express. Additionally, a discount of 10% can be availed on tickets for May 16th to May 31st, as per the announcement made by Pakistan Railways.
The Railway Department has announced that the Shalimar Express will recommence its services from Lahore to Karachi, via Sahiwal instead of Faisalabad, starting from May 1st.
In order to improve the facilities for the high-speed train, its 19 coaches have been refurbished at the Mughalpura Workshop.
