Pakistan Railways Suspends Trains for Flood-Hit Balochistan

Balochistan, the flood effected province has lost train link with the remaining county. Most of the roads linking the province to other part of the country has been washed away..

Recently, Jagger Express returned back to Quetta and could not travel beyond Kolpur.

However, Pakistan Railways made an announcement that trains traveling from Karachi, Peshawar and Lahore to Quetta would now end their journeys in Sukkur.

Further, a Railways representative confirmed that floodwater was passing over the tracks in Balochistan. However, the Railways has decided to close railway stations at Habib Kot, Sibbi, Dera Murad Jamali, and Notal.

In addition, as per death toll announced recently, due to heavy rain and massive floods death ratio raised to approximately 27 people in Balochistan.
