Pakistan Railways has announced a significant upgrade to improve the travel experience for passengers by launching dining and kitchen services on several key routes. As part of this initiative, major trains including Pakistan Express, Karachi Express, and Millat Express will now be equipped with dedicated dining coaches. Additionally, Jaffar Express will feature an onboard kitchen, offering freshly prepared meals during the journey.
The move aims to enhance passenger comfort, especially for those traveling long distances. Alongside the new dining facilities, Pakistan Railways will also provide complimentary onboard services for select routes. Passengers traveling between Lahore and Rawalpindi via Subak Raftar, Subak Kharam, Islamabad Express, and Rawal Express will benefit from these added services.
This development reflects Pakistan Railways’ continued efforts to modernize its infrastructure and improve service quality. By introducing amenities that are standard in international rail systems, the department hopes to attract more passengers and raise the overall standard of train travel in the country.
