Pakistan Receives 1 Petrol & 2 LPG Cargo Ships at Port Qasim

The government has stepped up its efforts to manage the energy situation by ensuring a steady supply of fuel across the country. Several shipments of LPG and petrol have recently arrived at Port Qasim, helping to strengthen fuel availability.

Officials have confirmed that there is currently enough fuel in the country to meet demand. They also shared that more ships are on the way, which will help maintain stability in the coming days.

Vessels such as PCG Pericles, MT Virgo, and Navigator Aries have already delivered thousands of tonnes of LPG and petrol, adding to the national reserves.

At the same time, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority is taking strict action against overpricing. OGRA has warned that anyone found increasing fuel prices unfairly will face penalties, as the government aims to protect consumers during this period.

A high-level meeting, led by Ishaq Dar, was held to review the current fuel reserves and overall situation. During the meeting, officials expressed satisfaction with the existing stock levels. They also emphasized the importance of strong coordination among departments to ensure that fuel supply remains uninterrupted.

These measures are being taken as a precaution due to ongoing regional tensions. The government is focused on maintaining stability, avoiding shortages, and ensuring that the public does not face any inconvenience related to fuel availability.
