Pakistan ‘Rejects’ Afghanistan’s Ce@sefire Request

Pakistan has reportedly turned down Afghanistan’s request for a ce@sefire after recent cross-border firing incidents from Afghan posts.

According to reports, the Pakistan Army continues its targeted operations along the frontier, focusing on positions allegedly supporting militants involved in attacks on Pakistani territory.

Security officials stated that Pakistan’s response aims to protect its borders and ensure stability in the region. They emphasized that any aggression or support for armed groups will be met with firm action.

The situation has raised concerns over rising tensions between the two neighbors, who have long shared a complex border and security challenges.

Pakistan insists that peace can only be reached when cross-border terrorist actions are completely stopped, regardless of Afghanistan’s request for tolerance and communication.
