Pakistan’s economic growth rate for 2020-21 has been increased up to 5.37 percent from 3.9 percent, according to Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar.

This is the second time the GDP rate for 2020-21 has been altered, from 2.3 percent in the 2020 annual budget to 3.9 percent subsequently.
According to a statement from the planning ministry, the country’s statistics office likewise adjusted its economy’s baseline, raising the rate to 5.57 percent.
According to the new 2015-16 baseline, Pakistan’s total GDP has reached $346.76 billion on a per capita basis.
